Baseball Reliever Passed Away at 62

Former Toronto Blue Jays star reliever Duane Ward has died at the age of 62 from natural causes. A key member of the Blue Jays’ 1992 and 1993 World Series championship teams, Ward was remembered as one of the greatest pitchers in franchise history. He recorded 121 saves during his career and still holds the team’s single-season record with 45 saves in 1993.
