Actress Patricia Crowley Dies at 91, Days Before Her Birthday
Patricia Crowley, the beloved actress known for her roles in Dynasty and Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, has died at the age of 91.
Crowley passed away from natural causes in Los Angeles on September 14, 2025, just two days before her 92nd birthday. The sad news was confirmed by her son, Jon Hookstratten.
Throughout her long career, Crowley appeared in many popular shows and films, including Hawaii Five-O, Columbo, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Port Charles. She also received the Golden Globe New Star Award in 1954 for her performances in Forever Female and Money From Home.
She began her acting journey on Broadway before becoming a familiar face on television. Her final screen appearance was in the 2012 film Mont Reve.
Crowley is survived by her husband Andy Friendly, her two children, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
