1960s teen idol and pop star Bobby Sherman has died at the age of 82 after battling stage 4 cancer, TMZ confirmed.
Sherman rose to fame in the late 1960s with hits like “Little Woman” and “Julie, Do Ya Love Me,” becoming one of the biggest teen stars of his era. He also starred in the TV series “Here Come the Brides” and appeared on shows including “The Monkees” and “The Partridge Family.”
After leaving entertainment, Sherman dedicated decades to public service, becoming an EMT, police academy trainer, and reserve officer with the Los Angeles Police Department.
His wife, Brigitte Poublon Sherman, and longtime friend John Stamos shared emotional tributes following his passing.
Sherman is survived by his two sons, Tyler and Christopher, and six grandchildren.
