Anthony Head, beloved for his roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Ted Lasso, has died at 72.
The British actor passed away peacefully from complications related to pneumonia, surrounded by his family, his daughters Emily and Daisy Head confirmed.
Head enjoyed a career spanning more than four decades. He became internationally known as Rupert Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and later won over a new generation of fans as Rupert Mannion in Ted Lasso.
He also appeared in Merlin, Doctor Who, Little Britain, The Iron Lady and numerous stage productions.
His daughters described him as an “extraordinary father” and said it was an honor and privilege to be his daughters.
