His wife, Annie, and children, Talia and Tommy Jr., confirmed his death and asked fans to respect their privacy as the family mourns.
DeCarlo’s journey was remarkable. He was once a devoted Boston fan who posted tribute recordings online after the death of original singer Brad Delp. His voice caught the attention of Boston founder Tom Scholz, who invited him to audition.
