Maureen Maguire, the longtime girlfriend of Ed Kelce and a beloved stepmother figure to NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce, has died at 74.
Ed Kelce shared the heartbreaking news, saying Maureen “passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.”
Maureen was a former elementary school teacher who devoted much of her life to raising her family. She was remembered for her love of the beach, dogs, travel, football, and bringing people together.
She and Ed shared a close relationship filled with trips, football games, concerts, and countless memories.
Maureen had also developed a warm bond with Taylor Swift, with Ed previously recalling a playful moment when Maureen joked that Taylor was “stealing her boyfriend” while they posed for a photo.
Her obituary describes her as a woman known for her style, humor, compassion, hospitality, and vibrant spirit.
She will be deeply missed by Ed, her loved ones, and everyone whose life she touched.
