Rumer Willis opened up emotionally this Father’s Day, sharing a heartfelt tribute to her father, legendary actor Bruce Willis, as he continues living with frontotemporal dementia.
In an emotional Instagram post, Rumer said she deeply misses being able to talk to her father like she once could. She shared touching photos of Bruce with her and her daughter, Louetta.
“Today is hard,” she wrote, adding that she wished she had asked him more questions when he could still answer. But seeing his eyes light up around Louetta gives her something to treasure.
“I love you so much, Dad. Happy Father’s Day.”
Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming Willis, also honored him, praising fathers living with illness or disability and highlighting the resilience, unconditional love, and strength he continues to show their daughters.
Although the family faces heartbreaking changes, both women focused on love, acceptance, and cherishing every moment together.
