Actress Christina Applegate is opening up about her life with multiple sclerosis (MS) in her upcoming memoir, “You With the Sad Eyes.”
Applegate says she now spends much of her time in or on her bed—not because she’s sleeping, but because movement can be painful.
Still, she makes one important trip every day: taking her 15-year-old daughter, Sadie, to school.
She calls it her favorite part of the day because it gives them time alone together. ❤️
Applegate has also found strength in being honest about her struggles through her memoir and her podcast MeSsy, which she co-hosts with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who also lives with MS.
Her memoir looks back at her childhood, early fame, breast cancer, and her experience with MS.
“My life isn’t wrapped up with a bow,” Applegate says, choosing to share her story as honestly and openly as possible.
