Country Singer Jillian Cardarelli Shares Breast Cancer Update: “One Day at a Time”

Country singer Jillian Cardarelli, 33, is facing breast cancer “one day at a time” as she begins treatment.

After recently revealing her diagnosis of stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma, Cardarelli shared photos from the hospital and called the procedure her “first big step.”

She thanked her medical team at Dana-Farber and everyone who has supported, prayed for, and checked on her.

Cardarelli said she first realized something was wrong after feeling unusually tired and discovering a lump. Doctors later confirmed her diagnosis.

Despite the difficult road ahead, she remains hopeful that treatment will be successful and that she can go on to live a long, healthy and happy life.

Her message to women was simple but powerful:
