Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly pulled their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, from a UK school after just two days, citing security concerns.

The couple had enrolled the children at a school before leaving their Montecito home, but kept its name and location private. According to their spokesperson, the decision came after discussions with their security team about the practicalities of the school arrangements.

Reports later claimed that Harry and Meghan’s four-car convoy faced a long journey, with the school run taking around an hour each way. Traffic and an alleged incident involving the convoy reportedly added to their concerns.

However, not everyone believes security was the real reason.

Royal expert Robert Jobson suggested the issue may have been more about the difficult school run and traffic than a serious security threat. He also questioned whether the situation was being used to strengthen Harry’s case for taxpayer-funded protection.

Meanwhile, Harry’s security arrangements are being reviewed, and Meghan’s security is reportedly being reviewed as well — the first official review of the couple’s arrangements since they stepped back from royal duties in 2020.
