My electricity bill suddenly doubled.
I couldn’t understand why.
Then one night, I looked outside and caught my neighbor Monica charging her Tesla from my house.
When I confronted her, she didn’t even feel guilty.
“You live alone. Don’t be selfish.”
I told her she owed me for the electricity.
She laughed.
“It’s probably only a few dollars. I’m not paying.”
That was when I decided I had been too patient.
I didn’t call the police.

The next night, Monica came back with her Tesla.
She reached for the charging cable.
Then she noticed my old garden gnome blocking the outlet.
She tried to move it.

Seconds later, a hidden container tipped over and covered Monica from head to toe in pink paint.
Her scream woke half the neighborhood.
