The beloved singer, known for timeless hits like Mandy and Copacabana, revealed in December 2025 that doctors had discovered an early-stage cancerous spot in his left lung after a prolonged battle with bronchitis.

The diagnosis was frightening, but doctors believed the cancer had been caught early. Manilow underwent surgery and later faced additional complications, including pneumonia, that made his recovery more challenging.

His health journey also forced him to postpone performances while focusing on getting better.
