Those words stopped me cold as I stood outside the restaurant my wife and I had spent eighteen years building. Our business was close to failing, our savings were nearly gone, and foreclosure threatened everything we’d worked for.
The stranger introduced himself as Damian, the uncle of our adopted son, Cedric.
