Customers rage over sign on KFC door

KFC

Police officers work hard to keep our communities safe, yet many feel they’re underpaid for their essential work.

A KFC in Gallipolis, Ohio, decided to show appreciation by posting a sign on its door:
“All uniformed police officers eat free everyday all day.”

The gesture quickly went viral, gaining over 10,000 likes on Facebook. Staff confirmed they’re proud to serve free meals to officers year-round.

However, not everyone agreed—some argued other emergency workers deserve the same treatment.

In response, one officer commented:
“We don’t expect free meals. KFC’s gesture simply acknowledges law enforcement. And yes, other first responders should be recognized too.”

It’s a reminder of the vital role police and all emergency workers play in keeping society safe.
