Glen Rogers, the “Casanova Killer,” Executed for 1995 Murder
Glen Rogers, known as the “Casanova Killer,” was executed by lethal injection on May 15, 2025, at Florida State Prison for the 1995 murder of Tina Marie Cribbs, a mother of two. Rogers, 62, had met Tina at a bar in Gibsonton, Florida. She was later found stabbed in a Tampa motel room he had rented.
In his final statement, Rogers expressed love for his family, addressed victims’ families, and told Donald Trump, “Keep making America great. I’m ready to go.” He was pronounced dead at 6:16 p.m.
Evidence against Rogers included Tina’s DNA on his clothing, fingerprints on her wallet, and her stolen car found in his possession. Though he denied the killings, he was convicted in Florida and also sentenced to death in California for the murder of Sandra Gallagher. Authorities tied him to multiple other murders in a 1995 crime spree but filed no further charges.
His execution, Florida’s fifth in 2025, followed a death warrant signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis and occurred amid renewed federal support for capital punishment under Trump’s second term.
Rogers spent his final day calmly, eating pizza and chocolate cake, and meeting with family. Witnesses described the execution as quiet and methodical.
