David Parton, brother of Dolly Parton, passed away on November 15 at 82 in White Pine, Tennessee. His sister Stella shared the news, and Dolly has not yet commented.
David, a retired bridge-building superintendent, was preceded in death by his son, parents, and several siblings. He is survived by his wife Kay, daughters Donna and Dena, nephew/son Lucas Townsend, and other family members.
A funeral service will be held on November 19 at Leadvale Baptist Church, with burial at Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family thanked Dr. David McNabney and caregivers for their support.
