Wendy Auger, a mother of four from New Hampshire, was shocked when the DMV ordered her to surrender the vanity plate she had for 15 years: “PB4WEGO”—a lighthearted reminder for her kids to “pee before we go.”
The DMV claimed the plate referenced “sexual or excretory acts,” despite Auger insisting it was harmless and part of her family’s humor. “Who hasn’t said that to kids before leaving the house?” she asked.
After sharing the story on Facebook, her post went viral, drawing widespread support and even catching the attention of Governor Chris Sununu. He overturned the decision, calling it a bureaucratic overreach.
Auger later celebrated online: “This Sassy Momma Has Her Plates!!!”
