Donald Trump’s health has been a topic of concern since his first term. Though he frequently criticizes Joe Biden’s fitness, recent speculation has turned to Trump himself—especially after a viral image at a UFC event led some to question whether he was wearing a catheter.
During his return to office, Trump faced controversies like a trade war, disputes with Denmark, and protests over immigration raids. Amid this, concerns about his health resurfaced.
In the 2024 race against Kamala Harris, she released her medical records—Trump did not. Still, he claimed to be in excellent health. At 78, Trump is the oldest president to begin a second term. In April, White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella reported Trump was in good physical and cognitive health. His exam revealed normal vitals, past cataract surgery, and conditions like diverticulitis, with a follow-up colonoscopy planned. He also takes medications for cholesterol, heart health, and a skin condition.
Despite the doctor’s report, a June 9 image sparked online claims that Trump was wearing a Foley catheter, citing a visible line down his pant leg and hand bruising. Others dismissed the idea, calling it a crease in well-fitted pants and noting catheters aren’t typically used for mobile patients.
The White House denied the rumors. Spokesperson Steven Cheung called the claims false and politically motivated, reaffirming Trump’s reported good health.
