Barbie is trending with Margot Robbie starring as the iconic doll in the upcoming film Barbie, alongside Ryan Gosling as Ken. Meanwhile, Australia’s own “human Barbie,” Tara McConachy, is making headlines for her extreme plastic surgery journey.
Unlike Robbie’s natural look, 33-year-old McConachy has spent over $200,000 on cosmetic procedures, chasing her ideal of perfection despite health warnings. At 5’7” and 100 pounds, she calls herself “Australia’s Limited Edition Barbie Doll,” with measurements of 37-17-29 and enhancements including five breast augmentations, six nose jobs, cheek and butt implants, and vibrant green eye coloring.
Her obsession began at 20, when her father gifted her breast and lip procedures. “I eat, breathe, and dream about aesthetics,” she says. Turned away by several doctors due to her low BMI, she appeared on Botched, seeking larger implants but was denied further surgery due to health concerns.
Still determined, McConachy plans to travel to Turkey for more procedures, aiming to increase her breast size from 1050cc to 1500cc. “With me, it’s not less is more—it’s the more, the better,” she insists, funding her surgeries through exclusive online content.
