According to royal expert Phil Dampier, William believed Meghan never intended to stay in the royal fold and saw marriage to Harry as a path to fame. This view, Dampier claims, was shared by Queen Elizabeth’s cousin, Lady Elizabeth Anson, and contributed to the brothers’ fallout. Today, Harry and Meghan have left royal life, and William reportedly has no relationship with them.
