A man and a woman have reportedly passed away after a car that they were believed to be making love in fell off a cliff.
The duo, who were identified as 26-year-old Marcone da Silva Cadoso and 42-year-old Adriana Machado Ribeiro, were said to have parked their vehicle near a scenic overlook.
Apparent movements of the vehicle from their intimacy is believed to have caused it to move towards the exact edge and plunge hundreds of feet to the ground, as reported by CNN Brazil.
Cardoso and Ribeiro were headed towards that area where the ground was super wet, after they left a party, the officials have confirmed. They also recalled how the car fell down a giant hang-gliding ramp.
The car was found later that morning by a local caretaker, as shared by the authorities. Both victims were naked. The car fell around 1 am local time, and they were thrown roughly 328 feet.
The duo’s bodies were found at the base of the rock while parts of their car were seen scattered nearby, CNN Brazil added. No signs of violence were seen on their remains, and the car’s handbrake was engaged.
