Despite being globally recognized, Harry and Meghan live a fairly normal life. Their relationship with the royal family remains strained, especially after their Netflix docuseries and Harry’s memoir Spare, which exposed private royal matters.
In a Variety interview, Meghan shared a glimpse into their home life. The couple work mostly from their California home, sharing an office and dividing tasks while raising their children, Archie and Lilibet, who now hold royal titles.
“We’ll never get this time back,” Meghan said, describing mornings making breakfast and days filled with joint Zoom calls. Harry works across time zones, while Meghan focuses on efficiency, often saying, “If it takes less than five minutes, do it now.”
When traveling to LA, they commute together—snacks in hand. “We’re two hours outside LA, and we come prepared—with cookies the size of my toddler’s head,” she joked.
At night, once the kids are asleep, they wind down with Wordle or Duolingo. “If we turn on the TV, we spend more time scrolling than watching,” Meghan admitted. Relatable, right?
