Bodybuilding champion Hayley McNeff passed away unexpectedly but peacefully last Friday at age 37.
A Concord, Mass., native, Hayley was remembered as a vibrant, determined woman who reached the top of the bodybuilding world. “She had boundless energy and was very determined… We miss her madly,” said her father, Dave McNeff.
A graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School and UMass Amherst, Hayley was a lifelong athlete who later earned a U.S. Bodybuilding Champion title and pursued graduate studies in psychology to help others. Known for her humor, wit, and warmth, she built lasting relationships and made others feel welcome.
She is survived by her family and friends. Donations in her honor can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Her former coach paid tribute on Instagram, calling her “a good soul, super intelligent,” and “gone too soon.”
