Bruce Willis can’t speak, read, and walk. Here’s what happened to the ‘Die Hard’ actor

Bruce Willis Can No Longer Speak, Read, or Walk Due to Dementia

Legendary actor Bruce Willis, known for Die Hard and The Sixth Sense, is facing a devastating decline due to frontotemporal dementia (FTD). After retiring in 2022 following an aphasia diagnosis, the 70-year-old can no longer speak, read, walk, or remember his career. He now requires full-time care.

FTD is a rare brain disorder that affects language, behavior, and motor skills. Unlike Alzheimer’s, it often begins with changes in personality or speech. As it progresses, patients lose basic functions and independence.

Willis’s condition has raised awareness about this lesser-known form of dementia. His family continues to support him privately as they manage his advanced care needs.
