Sir Tom Jones Postpones Show Due to Illness
Sir Tom Jones postponed his July 22 show in Bremen, Germany after being diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. The 85-year-old singer announced the news on Instagram, writing, “Unfortunately, I must postpone my show this evening, as I’ve contracted an upper respiratory infection that needs treatment and rest.”
The concert, part of his Ages & Stages tour across Europe and the U.K., has been rescheduled for Monday, July 28, with all tickets remaining valid.
This isn’t the first time Jones has faced health setbacks. In 2022, he postponed a show due to viral laryngitis, denying rumors he had collapsed, and later revealed he underwent a second hip replacement.
Jones, known for hits like “It’s Not Unusual” and “Sex Bomb,” last released an album, Surrounded By Time, in 2021—his first since the death of his wife of 59 years, Melinda “Linda” Rose Woodward, in 2016.
