Ashley Biden, daughter of Joe Biden, has shared a hospital update on her father’s cancer treatment.
In May, the 82-year-old former president revealed he had been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer, discovered after he reported urinary symptoms. Tests confirmed a high-grade cancer (Gleason score 9) with bone metastasis, though it was hormone-sensitive, making it more treatable.
Earlier this week, a spokesperson confirmed Biden is undergoing radiation and hormone therapy.
Now, Ashley has shared a video from Penn Medicine in Philadelphia showing Biden ringing the bell after completing a round of radiation—a tradition for cancer patients.
“Rung the Bell! Thank you to the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff,” she captioned. Another post read, “Dad has been so damn brave. Grateful.”
Biden earlier said: “The prognosis is good… It’s moving along. I feel good.
