Ashley Biden Shares Update on Father’s Cancer Treatment
Ashley Biden, daughter of Joe Biden, has shared an update from the hospital on her father’s cancer treatment.
In May, the 82-year-old former president revealed he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer after doctors found a nodule following urinary symptoms. A statement from his office confirmed the cancer had spread to his bones but was hormone-sensitive, allowing for effective management.
Earlier this week, Biden’s team confirmed he was undergoing radiation and hormone therapy.
In a new Instagram post, Ashley shared a video of her father ringing the bell at Penn Medicine Radiation Oncology in Philadelphia, marking the completion of his radiation treatment.
“Rung the Bell! Thank you to the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff at Penn Medicine. We are so grateful!” she wrote, also praising her father’s bravery throughout treatment.
Biden previously said his prognosis was good, adding, “We’re working on everything. It’s moving along. So I feel good.”
