A mother in Wales discovered that her partner, Alex Green, was no more in the most heartbreaking manner.
Chloe Powles shared how she witnessed her husband dead on the sofa inside their residence in Pencoed, just days before the twin daughters’ first birthday.
Alex was busy sleeping downstairs on the sofa to avoid disturbing the babies during the night. Both the little girls suffer from health conditions. Livie has a form of dwarfism that impacts her ability to eat and gain weight.
Georgina is undergoing chemotherapy for eye tumors and has lost vision in one eye, sources shared. In the morning, Chloe says she found her husband, Alex, unresponsive, and it was bizarre as he was sitting up on the sofa, blue and stiff. That’s when she contacted emergency services, and they arrived.
The cause of death is yet to be revealed in public as the autopsy results are still pending. The tragedy has left Chloe as the sole caretaker responsible for the twins’ complex medical needs, a role that she called out as overwhelming.
A fundraising page has also been set up by a family friend to assist in supporting the family through this very tragic and difficult time.
