Erika Kirk, who is the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, broke her silence during a recent interview about how she is praying to God that she’s pregnant when her husband was shot and killed.
The 37-year-old was seen speaking with Megyn Kelly during a live on-stage interview in Arizona on Friday, where she revealed how her longing for a bigger family sparked a major revelation.

Erika shared with Kelly during a tour stop that she was hoping and praying to God that she was pregnant when he got murdered. ‘You told me this in private. How many children did you want to have?’- Megyn asked.
To that, she shared that she wanted to have four. The couple wished to expand their family further, but little did they know that Charlie would exit the world so quickly.

‘I thought of that once. Whether it was meant to be or whether we would get news like that’- the post read.
Erika mentioned that being pregnant would mean growing her husband’s legacy further after his death, but she’s accepted the situation and moved on. She also mentioned how having kids is something she always tells young couples to do and never to wait, as nothing is more beautiful than having offspring.
