First Lady Melania Trump is not getting much love after she was pictured receiving this year’s White House Christmas tree.
Mrs. Trump has been the center of memes galore for spending under three minutes at a White House Christmas event, years after her infamous meltdown over the holiday.
This event is known for being prestigious as it marks the arrival of the White House Christmas tree.
After the arrival, Melania spent a mere two minutes and 50 seconds welcoming it before she returned inside to the presidential residence. During this very brief episode, she tried her best to pose for some pictures and even gave out a few handshakes.
She similarly walked around the horse-drawn carriage that was carrying the tree, insisting that this was beautiful before she posed for clicks with the press and then rushed back inside.
Critics had a hard time accepting this behavior and went as far as to call her out for thinking this was okay. Another slammed Melania on the X platform, calling her the worst and most unproductive First Lady in America’s history. Some called her the Grinch for arriving and escaping in seconds, and then another added that she’s made it evident she does not like Christmas.
