Erika Kirk recently shared how Turning Point USA would be proudly supporting Vice President JD Vance’s possible bid for the presidency in the year 2028.
She also addressed the massive backlash linked to an intense hug between the duo on stage.
Kirk, who is now the head of the conservative movement’s leading young Republicans’ group following the assassination of her partne,r Charlie Kirk, has now been dogged by trolls since she embraced Vance in the previous month at the Turning Point campaign event.

The mom of two spoke about similarities between her late partner and Vance before welcoming him on stage and hugging him. That’s when she placed her hand on the back of his head.
This moment did not take long before going viral, and people started to analyze the body language that was set. Some passed judgments on how appropriate that kind of gesture was in the first place, considering the fact that he’s married and she’s a widow.
When asked about her actions on stage during a recent interview with Megyn Kelly, she mentioned that she’s an intense hugger and that was just her kind of love language, nothing more or less.

‘Whoever is hating on this hug needs a hug themselves’- she continued. ‘My love language is touch, if you will’- she explained and stated that there is nothing wrong with putting a hand on the back of someone’s hand during an embrace, as it’s normal for her.
