White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s brother has gone on to issue a scathing response after his baby mama was recently detained by ICE officials.
erreira was stopped in Massachusetts while she was busy driving to pick up her child and was subsequently transported to a detention facility in Louisiana.

ICE officers alleged that she overstayed her B2 tourist visa, which is one that got expired way back in the year 1999. She also has a prior arrest history for crimes like battery.
Ferreira’s lawyer rejected all of those claims and went on to share that she has no kind of criminal record and was in the process of attaining a lawful status. She lived previously under the protection of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

This news has since then drawn massive criticism across the board. Several of her relatives have publicly condemned Karoline for her silence and refusal to intervene. This is especially linked to her high-profile role inside the administration. They continued to argue that the family should always come first, before anyone else.
Since then, her supporters have gone on to launch a GoFundMe campaign for her legal defense while Leavitt’s office declined to comment on this matter. This matter has ignited a bigger debate over immigration enforcement.
