Full House star Dave Coulier, who announced in April that he was cancer-free after battling non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, has now revealed a new diagnosis: tongue cancer.
During an appearance on Today, he explained that a routine PET scan detected P16 squamous carcinoma at the base of his tongue, unrelated to his previous cancer. He is undergoing 35 rounds of radiation, with treatment expected to finish by December 31, and says the prognosis is very promising.
Coulier, who has lost multiple family members to cancer, credits early detection for saving his life twice and urges others to stay on top of medical checkups. “Take great care of yourself — there’s a lot to live for,” he said.
