Hillary Clinton shared on X about her outrage over Donald Trump destroying the White House and adding that it belonged to the American people and was not his personal property to destroy.
The news comes after the US President chose to demolish a huge chunk of the East Wing to build his big and beautiful ballroom. Worth a staggering $250M, many felt it was just not justified, and Hillary made the most of this occasion to gather more hate for Trump.

The tweet she shared included a picture from the Washington Post showing rubble and demolition underway. The ballroom is reportedly said to hold 650 guests and is about 90,000 square feet.
Critics of Clinton’s post swiftly replied by reminding the public of controversies from the Clinton era, such as allegations that the Clintons offered overnight stays in the Lincoln Bedroom to high-dollar donors.

Bill Clinton’s affair with intern Monica Lewinsky was used as a line of critique by Trump-aligned voices. Reports the Clintons removed roughly $28k worth of White House furnishings or tableware when leaving the office in 2001, belongings that were part of the permanent collection.
Former White House staffer Alex quipped, “A Clinton would never defile the White House,”- the source added.
