Rob Reiner’s eldest daughter, Tracy Reiner, has spoken out following the reported deaths of her father and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner.
The acclaimed filmmaker and his wife were reportedly found dead at their Brentwood, California home on December 14. According to TMZ, both allegedly suffered knife-related injuries, and the LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division is investigating. Police say there are currently no suspects.
A family spokesperson confirmed the deaths, asking for privacy during the difficult time.
Speaking to NBC News, Tracy said she was “in shock,” adding, “I came from the greatest family ever. I don’t know what to say.”
Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner had been married since 1989 and shared three children, while Tracy is Reiner’s daughter from his first marriage.
