Tributes have poured in for Hollywood legend Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, after the couple were brutally murdered in their Los Angeles home on Sunday. Their son, Nick Reiner, has been convicted of two counts of first-degree murder.
Rob and Michele attended a Christmas party the night before their deaths, where witnesses said Nick—who struggled with drug addiction—had a loud argument with them and appeared erratic. Friends said the couple had urged him to seek rehab, but he wanted help at home instead.
Jane Fonda, who met Rob and Michele the day before they were killed, shared a heartfelt tribute, describing them as kind, generous, and deeply committed to making the world better. Monty Python star Eric Idle also paid tribute, revealing he spoke with Rob for over an hour the night before his death, calling him a “lovely, clever, and thoughtful man.”
Rob Reiner, famed for When Harry Met Sally and Stand by Me, and his wife Michele are being mourned across Hollywood.
Rest in peace, Rob and Michele.
