10 Dead, Including 3 Children, After Private Jet Attempts Emergency Landing onto Soccer Field and Bursts into Flames

Posted on December 19, 2025 By admin

At least ten people were killed, including three kids who passed away after a small private jet crashed in Central Mexico.

According to reports from local media outlets, the plane was trying to make an emergency landing at a soccer field in San Mateo Atenco, which is 32 miles west of Mexico City. This is when it hit a giant warehouse and burst into mega flames.

The plane was said to be traveling from Acapulco and was on its way to Toluca as per ABC. Due to the warehouse storing fuel and gas tanks, an evacuation of the building was carried out following this incident.

The authorities confirmed that at least 130 people were safely evacuated in time from the area. However, 10 were tragically killed, including three minors, but so far, only seven bodies have been found.

‘It spun around like when a fan breaks loose’- one local resident shared regarding the matter. Shortly after that, they heard the sounds of an explosion, and the impact was so severe that even the truck moved, locals shared.

Investigations are taking place to determine the cause of the plane crash as loved ones mourn the loss of those who have gone.
