Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly lost another one of their publicists.
The pair’s Chief Communications Officer, Meredith Maines, has decided to step away after just a year of working with the pair.
A source close to Maines mentioned how her decision to step away is shocking, as she’s someone who does not give up and works well under pressure. ‘She’s unflappable and never complains. She really enjoyed her time there, but there was a certain point where she had had enough and opted that this was the time to go’- a statement released by her team mentioned.
Maines is said to have learned a lot working under the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but feels her time is up. ‘She’s worked in a lot of industries and knows right from wrong’- the source continued.
Maines is believed to have handled the duo’s charity work and Meghan’s podcast, amongst a host of other leading projects belonging to the couple. This is the pair’s 11th publicist to resign in just five years.
