Posted on January 7, 2026 By admin

A 15-year-old child in Australia has passed away on New Year’s Eve after his e-bike rammed into a giant pole.

Sources from local media outlets shared how the incident occurred in Devonport in Tasmania, when it collided with a telephone pole around evening hours.

The cops shared that they didn’t identify the victim at the time. Police and emergency services were called to the scene on Don Heads Road just after 8 pm after reports of the e-bike having crashed.

The teen rider was said to have died at the scene, as per the police report. Local media outlets shared how he survived the 2021 Hillcrest Primary School tragedy that gave rise to this and other kinds of serious injuries, over 30 feet in the air at Devonport. In the aftermath, the boy spent several weeks in the hospital and needed to make use of a wheelchair.

During that time, he met several members of the Richmond Football Club and Greater Western Sydney Giants, including his favorite player, Toby Greene.
