Lawmakers in the UK are not happy with President Trump and his stance of annexing Greenland and going against EU allies by placing high tariffs.
This is why the lawmakers are now urging King Charles III’s planned state visit to the US this spring to be cancelled in reaction to Trump’s recent trade actions and threats.

The proposed visit is set for late April and will reportedly mark the 250th anniversary of America’s independence from Britain.
However, the visit is yet to be confirmed by Buckingham Palace, and that’s why critics in the UK are now arguing that it needs to be put on hold, if not cancelled altogether.

Others argued that a state visit just seems so inappropriate right now, given the current state of conditions around the world.
