Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, has been missing since Saturday, January 31, from her home in Catalina Foothills, Arizona. Authorities now believe a crime has occurred and are investigating the case as a possible kidnapping. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos stated investigators think Nancy was taken from her home against her will during the night. Blood and signs of forced entry were reportedly found inside the house, and police are reviewing security footage from the area. A large search effort is ongoing, and a reward of up to $2,500 has been offered for information leading to an arrest. A neighbor described heavy police presence and said it is highly unlikely Nancy left on her own due to mobility issues. Authorities continue to use every resource available to locate her.
