Akiane Kramarik’s masterpiece “Prince of Peace”, painted at age 8, resurfaced 16 years after being stolen and lost in obscurity. Now 28, Akiane is a best-selling author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, known for her spiritually inspired, otherworldly art.
From a young age, Akiane claimed her talent came from God. On Oprah, she explained that she could hear God’s voice—a quiet, beautiful guidance that inspired her visions. Surprisingly, Akiane’s family was not religious, yet she began speaking about God and His love in vivid detail, despite no outside influence.
Her portrait of Jesus emerged from a lifelong vision. Unable to find a model, she prayed with her family for guidance, and a tall carpenter appeared, becoming her muse. Using him, Akiane painted Prince of Peace, demonstrating remarkable skill for a child. The painting was stolen on its way to an exhibition, later returned in poor condition, and then mistakenly sold to a private collector, disappearing from view for years.
Undeterred, Akiane continued creating and sharing her message of peace through art, traveling to over 30 countries, counseling diverse groups, and selling more than 100,000 prints of her works.
In 2019, the masterpiece resurfaced, purchased for $850,000 by an anonymous family dedicated to preserving it for generations. Seeing it restored, Akiane wept, calling it “amazing to see it in the light again…Love is so powerful. It will always show up on time to people who need it most.”
Today, Prince of Peace is on exhibit at the Belóved Gallery in Marble Falls, TX, a testament to Akiane’s extraordinary talent and spiritual vision.
