After her grandfather’s death, Katherine’s life felt fragile but stable—until her husband Michael suddenly filed for divorce just weeks later, claiming things “weren’t working.” After 12 years together, she let him go without a fight and focused on running her veterinary clinic.

Then one evening in a grocery store parking lot, she saw him step out of a brand-new white sports car—wearing a designer suit and a Rolex. This was the same man who used to work as a grocery store cashier, living paycheck to paycheck in clearance clothes. Now he looked wealthy, confident, and smug.

When she called his name, he barely acknowledged her, acting cold and dismissive. It was a shocking transformation—and the beginning of Katherine realizing something about his sudden new lifestyle didn’t add up.
