Posted on February 27, 2026 By admin

Ian Huntley, who is serving a life sentence for the 2002 murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, is reportedly “fighting for life” after being attacked in prison at HM Prison Frankland.

The 52-year-old was airlifted to hospital after another inmate attacked him around 9am on February 26, allegedly leaving him severely injured. Huntley is serving a minimum 40-year life sentence for the 2002 Soham murders. Reports indicate he has been attacked by inmates multiple times in recent years, with one previous incident requiring hospitalization.
