Lucy Wilde, a 25-year-old British Army medic and social media creator, was found unresponsive in her military quarters on Feb. 5 after missing morning duties. Authorities later confirmed her death and launched a formal investigation, though it is not being treated as suspicious.
Serving as a corporal with the Welsh Guards, she was remembered as a calm, dedicated soldier who performed exceptionally during a large emergency medical response, earning professional commendation for her courage and work under pressure.
Outside the military, Wilde had built an online fitness and wellness following of over 17,000 people across Instagram and TikTok, where she shared workout routines and daily life moments. Her final post, a video of her puppy Bruno, was shared the day before her death and is now viewed as deeply poignant by followers.
The British Army said her legacy reflects service, compassion, and strength, adding that her loss is felt across her unit and beyond.
