Malia and Sasha Obama, daughters of former U.S. President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, grew up under intense public attention while living in the White House from 2009 to 2017. Their mother said they were raised to be confident and independent despite constant scrutiny.
Malia, born in 1998, graduated from Harvard University in 2021 after taking a gap year to work in entertainment, including production roles and writing. In 2024, she debuted at the Sundance Film Festival with her short film Heart.
Sasha, born in 2001, graduated from the University of Southern California in 2023 with a sociology degree after studying at the University of Michigan.
The sisters now live together in Los Angeles and enjoy spending time together.
Recently, Malia and Sasha were photographed partying in Hollywood with rapper Drake at The Bird Streets Club, staying out late with friends. Malia wore a lace-up sheer top and printed trousers, while Sasha wore a black cropped corset and cargo pants.
Drake has previously expressed interest in playing Barack Obama in a biopic, a possibility the former president jokingly supported, praising the rapper’s talent.
