Mark Bryan, a 61-year-old German robotics engineer and father of three, is challenging gender stereotypes through fashion. While high heels were originally worn by men in the 10th century, today they—and skirts, boots, and pumps—are largely seen as women’s clothing.
Mark embraces these styles, believing clothes should have no gender. He often pairs skirts with traditionally “masculine” tops for variety beyond typical men’s work attire. His bold looks have earned him nearly 660,000 followers on Instagram.
Supported by his wife and children, who understand that clothing doesn’t define gender or sexuality, Mark shares his fashion openly. His daughter is particularly enthusiastic, hoping to borrow some of his pieces one day.
Despite online criticism and negative comments, he continues to advocate for freedom of expression, reminding others that the scrutiny wouldn’t exist if he wore conventional men’s clothing.
