Corey Parker, actor and acting coach, has died at 60 after battling Stage 4 metastatic cancer. He passed on March 5 in Memphis, Tennessee, confirmed by his aunt Emily Parker.
Parker revealed in late 2025 that about 90% of his bones were affected by adenocarcinoma. By early 2026, the disease left him unable to speak, write, or function normally. In February, he described his condition as terminal, with his family preparing for hospice care.
He began his career in the mid-1980s, appearing in Friday the 13th Part V, 9½ Weeks, Flying Blind, and Will & Grace. Later, he became an acting coach, advising on projects like Sun Records and Ms. Marvel.
Parker came from a creative family, including his mother, Rocky Parker, and sister Noelle, both in the entertainment industry.
