In February 2023, Bruce Willis’s family announced he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and would retire from acting. Since then, they’ve shared moments showing him surrounded by love and family support.
Alongside the positive updates, his daughters have also opened up about the emotional struggle of coping with his condition. His daughter Rumer shared a childhood photo of Bruce holding her, writing, “Really missing my papa today.”
His other daughter, Tallulah, also posted emotional images of her father along with the caption: “You’re my whole damn heart and I’m so proud to be your Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis.”
Despite the sadness, there have been meaningful moments too, including Bruce meeting his granddaughter after Rumer welcomed her first child in 2023—something the family deeply cherishes.
