Darrell “The Gambler” Sheets, star of Storage Wars, has died at the age of 67.
Police in Lake Havasu City confirmed he was found dead at his home on April 22 from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The case remains under investigation.
Sheets was a fan favorite on the hit show, appearing in 163 episodes since its 2010 debut and earning his nickname for taking big risks at storage auctions and turning small finds into huge profits.
He later stepped back from the show after health issues, including a heart attack in 2019, and moved to Arizona where he ran an antiques store.
A&E and fans have paid tribute, remembering him as a key part of the Storage Wars family. He is survived by his two children, including his son Brandon Sheets, who also appeared on the show.
